The Accounts Receivable Specialist will join a collaborative accounting team, supporting the Finance and Accounting department in daily operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare, health software, or medical device industries who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly billing cycles and issuing invoices.
- Apply payments to outstanding invoices daily.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries regarding revenue.
- Resolve billing questions and disputes with customers efficiently.
- Build and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve billing processes.
- Monitor A/R aging reports and contact customers regarding overdue accounts.
- Utilize accounting software and systems, including NetSuite and Salesforce, to optimize workflow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.
- Ability to read and understand contracts.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-starter with adaptability to daily changes.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total Target Compensation (TTC) ranges from $99,764.50 to $112,675 annually, including base pay, variable pay, commission, and bonuses.
