Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and seasoned Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our team! In this remote role, you will play a pivotal role in the cash collection process for healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to all necessary regulations and standards. Your proficiency in managing both commercial and government payers will be instrumental in our expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee Accounts Receivable records to optimize cash flow, ensuring all incoming payments are reconciled and accounted for.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate effectively with management regarding slow-paying customers and collection recommendations.
- Uphold integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, strictly adhering to HIPAA guidelines and compliance standards.
- Proactively develop solutions to issues and facilitate good communication with patients regarding payment plans.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Billing Manager.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Extensive experience navigating and posting in EMR systems.
- Familiarity with Behavioral Health Accounts Receivable is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable roles focused on payor collections.
- Proven track record working with major commercial and government payers.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay range of (21.00 ) 24.00 per hour (43,680 – )49,920 annually, based on experience.
- Fully remote work arrangement with flexible hours, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, MST.
