Description:
Labcorp, a global leader in healthcare diagnostics, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist-MRO to join our Revenue Cycle Management Division. This remote position plays a critical role in posting AR and remittance from private and government payers into the billing system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and post AR from assigned payers within expected Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Utilize macros, multiple systems, and computer-based tools to ensure proper posting.
- Research payer websites to obtain posting backups as needed.
- Identify issues and trends with assigned payers to maintain efficient workflow.
- Ensure aged AR is managed according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Communicate with leadership and partner teams to confirm accurate and timely remittance processing.
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain flexibility in work tasks.
Requirements & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to meet weekly and monthly production goals after training.
- Previous insurance, claims, EOB, cash posting, or remittance experience preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Remote work setup requires high-speed internet (50 Mbps or higher), a dedicated workspace, and the ability to maintain focus during work hours.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm EST
