Description:
Olo is hiring an experienced and hands-on Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and oversee the full accounts receivable lifecycle within a fast-paced SaaS environment. Olo is a leading technology platform transforming the restaurant industry by enabling digital ordering, payments, and guest engagement solutions that help brands operate more efficiently and deliver personalized customer experiences.
This role plays a key leadership function, managing a team of overseas collections analysts and AR specialists while ensuring timely collections, accurate cash application, and reduced bad debt exposure. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams and external customers.
This position is remote-friendly and open to candidates based anywhere in the United States, with the option to work from Olo’s New York City headquarters if preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of offshore collections analysts and AR specialists, assigning accounts and prioritizing workloads
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine scalable collections strategies and standard operating procedures
- Oversee daily collections activity and actively monitor AR aging to drive timely follow-ups
- Ensure accurate cash application, resolve unapplied cash, and manage failed payment issues
- Partner with internal teams including Revenue Operations, Sales, and Legal to enforce collections policies
- Build strong relationships with customers to improve responsiveness and collection outcomes while maintaining a positive client experience
- Track, analyze, and report key collections metrics on a weekly basis and hold the team accountable to performance goals
- File proofs of claim during customer bankruptcy proceedings
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and project support to management
- Prepare and maintain monthly accounts receivable reserve analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of AR and collections experience, including at least 3 years leading teams in a high-volume B2B environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-facing presence
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative work environment
- Experience working within strong control frameworks such as SOX 404
- Proven experience managing offshore or international teams
- SaaS, multinational, or technology industry experience is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with platforms such as Intacct, Stripe, Paya, Braintree, Zendesk, and Salesforce is a plus
