Dreamcloud Holdings LLC, part of the Resident family of brands, is seeking an Accounts Receivable, Deductions Analyst to join our accounting team. This role focuses on analyzing, resolving, and reducing customer deductions, chargebacks, and penalties—mainly from large wholesale accounts.

Job Overview
The Deductions Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring healthy cash flow by investigating and resolving deductions. You’ll work across teams—including Operations, Retail Support, and Sales—to understand root causes of chargebacks and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and dispute customer deductions tied to shipping, compliance, or pricing
- Investigate recurring penalties and identify underlying issues
- Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve claims
- Maintain documentation and prepare accounting entries related to deductions
- Collaborate with the Operations team to address shipment errors and compliance issues
- Develop standard operating procedures for deduction handling and vendor setup
- Conduct audits on high-volume accounts and report key deduction metrics
- Support AR processes by assisting with payment applications and resolving unapplied cash
- Present financial findings and deduction trends to Accounting leadership
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in deductions or chargeback analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator
- Attention to detail and ability to handle high data volumes
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides, and MS Office
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with major retailers or distributors
- Familiarity with customer compliance requirements
- Experience using customer portals like Amazon, Best Buy, or Sam’s Club
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems
