We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing cash flow, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting cross-functional teams to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and record AR transactions, including invoices, payments, and credit memos.
- Maintain detailed customer files and payment records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure all AR documentation complies with company policies.
- Reconcile customer accounts and collaborate with Finance, RCM, and other teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support external audits and quarterly reviews by preparing relevant documentation.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements for AR operations.
- Perform adhoc projects and assigned tasks.
90-Day Plan:
- Take ownership of AR deliverables, ensuring invoices, reconciliations, and reports are accurate and timely.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline AR workflows.
- Explore AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative tasks.
- Build strong partnerships with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving by addressing discrepancies or inefficiencies promptly.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related financial roles.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite), billing software (Zuora), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
