Description:
GHOST, a disruptive sports nutrition brand, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Chicago-based accounting team. The role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and supports accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. This is a part-time role eligible for remote work within the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send invoices to wholesale customers (domestic and international), ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities
• Create and maintain customer accounts and pricing structures
• Analyze accounts, including customer aging, and generate weekly/monthly reports to support cash flow forecasting and open accounts receivable management
• Assist with collection efforts for past-due balances
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring correct accounting classifications for any deductions
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
