About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Apprentice to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations. The apprentice will support daily finance functions across branch operations and collaborate closely with the Credit, Sales, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Cash Management

  • Review and release sales orders and delivery requests (OBDs) for assigned branches.
  • Collect Cash, CDCs, and PDCs from the sales team and ensure accurate logging.
  • Verify all PDCs align with payment terms and report deviations to credit controllers.
  • Make daily bank deposits and post received payments promptly.
  • Update customer accounts in SAP with PDC information.

Petty Cash & Customer Accounts

  • Manage and post branch petty cash transactions.
  • Clear customer accounts daily.
  • Review newly created customer IDs before adding to ECC (SAP).

Documentation & Verification

  • Handle receipt books, including issuance, verification, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain tracking logs for issued or returned receipt books.
  • Liaise with banks regarding direct deposits (cash or cheque).

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Assist with annual stock counts and warranty scrap audits.
  • Review and seek approval for third-party payments.

Branch & Sales Team Support

  • Support Sales team with finance-related queries and documentation.
  • Ensure timely payment of AADC bills.
  • Participate in monthly closing activities.
  • Provide backup support for other branch accountants as required.
  • Handle various branch administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Accounting or related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant work or internship experience.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • UAE Nationals only (Emiratization role).
