Description:
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a subsidiary of McKesson, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its expanding team. This position plays a crucial role in managing the Invoice Dispute Log, reconciling client receivables, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. SCRI is at the forefront of oncology research, committed to improving outcomes for cancer patients across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all assigned financial tasks are completed accurately and within defined deadlines.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and resolve complex discrepancies related to client accounts.
• Identify, analyze, and report recurring trends in billing and payment processes.
• Recommend improvements to existing financial procedures and workflows.
• Investigate and reconcile disputes, including rate differences, missing information, and sponsor billing issues.
• Interpret and review clinical trial contracts and budgets to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve variances and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or accounts receivable management.
• Strong ability to interpret complex contracts and understand their financial implications.
• Experience in clinical research and familiarity with clinical financial systems and EMRs highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
