About the Job:
Risk Strategies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our dynamic AR team. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, payment processing, discrepancy resolution, and support Account Managers. Your ability to maintain accuracy, deliver excellent customer service, and solve complex issues will be essential to success in this role.
Your Impact:
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions before applying funds to ensure accuracy. Collaborate effectively with accounting teams and field offices to support AR activities and resolve issues.
- Operating and Trust Account Exceptions: Handle exceptions for operating and trust accounts, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Payment Identification: Work with Account Managers to identify payments and ensure correct application to corresponding accounts. Prepare and review daily reconciliation payment packets and provide supporting evidence to supervisors.
- Finance Agreement Processing: Process finance agreements in accordance with established procedures.
- Portal Tickets: Manage portal tickets, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Interoffice Bank Transfers: Facilitate interoffice bank transfers while ensuring compliance and proper documentation. Review and resolve payments posted in the “Claim this Client” system.
- Aged Receivables: Monitor and manage aged receivables, taking proactive steps to resolve outstanding issues.
- Team Support: Provide backup support during peak workloads or team member absences. Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Required insurance accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounts receivable or related financial analysis experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service abilities and collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Adaptability to changing processes and willingness to learn
Additional Information:
- Minimal travel may be required for training, meetings, or collaboration
- Overtime may be required during high-volume periods, month-end, and year-end closings

Compensation:
- Base pay: $26.50 – $31.25 per hour (depending on location, experience, education, and skills)
- Total compensation may include additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement savings, and other elements depending on the role
