Description:
Cartus is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Analyst II to support the company’s cash flow and revenue optimization by ensuring timely collection and resolution of complex vendor and transferee receivables across all divisions. This role is key to maintaining a high collection efficiency rate and involves working closely with both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with transferees and suppliers to obtain payments or understand reasons for non-payment. Prepare and distribute statements daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Investigate payments, billing issues, and open receivables to provide accurate information to vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation and follow-up records; ensure effective global communication both written and verbal.
- Act as a liaison within Cartus to escalate and resolve customer/vendor collection issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Cash Applications team to ensure accurate and timely payment applications, including analysis of unapplied or unidentified cash balances.
- Generate reports on outstanding receivables for senior management and track portfolio trends and collection performance.
- Recommend settlements, write-offs, and negotiate partial payments when appropriate.
- Support cross-functional teams (Billing, AP, GL, Operations, Client Services, Supply Chain) to resolve pending issues.
- Participate in special task forces and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and collections procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong follow-up capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deadline-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork and collaboration globally.
