Summary/Objective:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting routine accounts receivable operations across plant locations. Key responsibilities include posting invoices, verifying account information, responding to internal inquiries, and supporting AR processing to ensure accurate billing and timely cash application. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to standardized procedures, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks consistently. Escalation of unresolved issues to senior team members is part of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately match credits to invoices
• Respond to internal accounting or staff inquiries
• Process customer setup requests
• Support AR operations for assigned plant locations
• Perform manual billing for intercompany and external transactions
• Maintain document control and submit for approvals as needed
• Support audit preparation by keeping documentation consistent and traceable
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure accuracy in all AR entries and transactions
• Maintain confidentiality and proper system usage
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based, indoor environment
• Prolonged sitting with computer use
• Repetitive hand movements for operating computers, printers, and copiers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting or financial concepts preferred

Essential Functions:

• Process transactions for assigned plant systems
• Complete manual billing for all intercompany and external transactions
• Build professional relationships through effective communication
• Comply with SOX, security, and confidentiality policies
• Follow audit procedures and respond to audit documentation requests
