We Are Hiring: Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Team Lead
 

Overview:
Fidelity United is seeking an experienced and proactive AR/AP Team Lead to manage end-to-end credit, receivables, payables and treasury activities. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader who can strengthen controls, optimise cashflow, and lead a high-performing team while collaborating across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine credit policies to support sales growth while reducing bad debt exposure.
  • Oversee AR, AP and Treasury operations, ensuring transactions are accurate, timely and compliant.
  • Perform comprehensive credit assessments, set limits and actively manage customer risk.
  • Monitor bank balances and manage inter-account transfers, contributing to cash flow forecasting.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the AR/AP team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive system upgrades and process improvements to boost efficiency and internal control.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Distribution, Operations and other stakeholders to align processes and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in credit management, AR, AP and treasury, preferably within insurance or financial services.
  • Proven leadership and people-management experience, with a track record of developing teams.
  • Strong analytical ability and in-depth knowledge of credit risk, collections and treasury frameworks.
  • Proficient with MS Office and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
