Ticketmaster – Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist

Ticketmaster North America is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Los Angeles. This role will manage and process both accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is proficient with Microsoft Excel and enterprise-level accounting software such as Oracle Financials or SAP.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute customer AR invoices for Ticketmaster’s products and services.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. AR Collections Clerk and AR Supervisor to resolve billing issues impacting invoice collectability.
  • Maintain and manage invoice documentation for audit and review purposes.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external clients regarding AR invoices.
  • Keep desk procedures documented and updated for any changes in processes.
  • Assist the A/R Supervisor with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

  • Enter vendor invoices into Inspyrus/Oracle AP systems, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with SOX guidelines.
  • Reconcile and maintain major vendor accounts.
  • Keep vendor files accurate and up-to-date within the Oracle AP system.
  • Process vendor invoices purchased with POs and obtain supporting Goods Receipts as needed.
  • Handle new vendor setups in Oracle, including all required documentation (W-9, initial invoice, bank instructions).
  • Scan invoices related to Intercompany billing.
  • Support AP Director/AP Supervisor with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials ERP system.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
