Description:
A Dubai-based PR and communications company is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role focused on managing receivables while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal departments.
The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the company and client finance teams, ensuring smooth billing processes, timely collections, and accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounts receivable ledger including invoicing, receipts, collections, and aging reports.
• Communicate directly with client finance teams regarding billing, payments, and account queries.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation.
• Perform reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Handle VAT-related processing on sales transactions in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software.
• Strong communication skills with a professional and confident approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
