Description:
Sentral, a network of communities redefining modern residential hospitality, is seeking an Accounts Payable & Treasury Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for detail-oriented, highly organized individuals who thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment and enjoy problem-solving with a customer-focused approach.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
• Lead vendor compliance, including setup and maintenance of vendor information in Yardi and VendorCaf.
• Collect required legal and insurance documentation for vendors.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Accurately enter and code invoices, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Property Operations and other teams to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with PO and payment system implementation, training, and accounting policy application.
• Maintain, file, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.
• Perform ad-hoc duties supporting the Accounting Department and community teams.

Treasury Responsibilities:
• Act as a treasury resource for accounting and other departments.
• Perform treasury functions with the Treasury Manager, including EFT initiation, online banking administration, and positive pay decisions.
• Communicate with banking partners regarding company accounts.
• Support ad-hoc treasury and accounting duties as required.

Skills & Experience Required:
• 3+ years’ experience in real estate accounting or a finance team.
• Proficiency with Yardi, including processing payables checks and invoices.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
• Experience implementing and optimizing accounting processes.
• Experience training property-level teams on accounting procedures.
• Strong operational, problem-solving, and customer service skills with high initiative.
