Overview:
Herc Rentals, a leading equipment rental company in North America with over $3.6 billion in revenue and approximately 10,200 employees, is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead. This role is responsible for overseeing AP processes, resolving invoice and purchase order (PO) exceptions, managing large supplier accounts, and leading process improvement initiatives. The position includes supervising team members as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee various accounts payable processes and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Run and analyze daily Invoice on Hold Reports and Aging Reports.
• Train new employees on AP systems and procedures.
• Conduct account reconciliation and resolve header invoice exceptions.
• Research outstanding credits, PO overbillings, and receiving discrepancies.
• Communicate with Field Managers, Requestors, Directors, and Suppliers to resolve payment issues.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail.
• Maintain and update supplier statements and key invoices for assigned accounts.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong multi-tasking and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic project management experience and strong work ethic.
