Role Overview
Minted is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance team and help maintain accurate, timely vendor payments and strong vendor relationships. This role reports to the Accounts Payable Accountant and is focused on invoice processing, vendor data maintenance, reconciliations, month-end AP activity, and resolving payment discrepancies while working closely with cross-functional partners.
You Will
- Coordinate with offshore and internal resources to ensure invoices are processed on time and coded correctly.
- Validate vendor invoices are supported by required documentation and follow company policy before processing.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, including ensuring W-9 and 1099 compliance where applicable.
- Manage vendor inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile vendor accounts.
- Prepare vendor accruals and perform AP-related month-end and year-end reconciliations.
- Assist with urgent requests from internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.
- Update and maintain invoice coding instructions for the AP team to ensure consistency.

You Have
- Minimum 2+ years experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with accounting systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and AP best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Bonus Points
- Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, or similar AP automation tools.
- Experience performing three-way invoice matches (PO, receipt, invoice).
