Description:
Auto Driveaway Systems, LLC is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing, private equity-owned organization. As a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services, Auto Driveaway supports large corporate fleets, fleet management companies, dealerships, OEMs, and upfitters with reliable, safe, and timely door-to-door driveaway solutions. Our services extend to fleet shipping, short-term vehicle management, and reconditioning across all asset types, delivered through a dedicated network of professional drivers committed to quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review documentation for accounts payable processing and ensure accuracy
- Verify contractor rates and customer billing
- Prepare daily payments to contractors and maintain vendor records
- Manage daily imports for contractor advances and reconciliation
- Process documentation into imaging software and transfer to accounting software
- Perform data entry using Excel and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Enter vendor credits and report vendor issues or balances to team members
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of accounts payable experience, including:
- G/L coding
- Contract review and comparison
- Data entry, check runs, and ACH payments
- Print, review, mail, filing, and month-end closing
- High-volume 1099 form preparation for vendors
- Ability to manage multiple company accounts payable, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Avalara/Track 1099 or similar systems required; Oracle NetSuite experience a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other technology tools
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
