Huntress is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join its Accounting team during an exciting phase of company growth and product expansion. In this role, you will act as the primary gatekeeper for employee spending and travel-related transactions, ensuring accurate coding, compliance, and seamless integration across financial systems. Key Responsibilities:


• Monitor daily corporate credit card activity within Brex, auditing expenses against company travel and expense policies
• Follow up with employees to obtain missing receipts and required documentation
• Review and code all travel-related transactions in Navan, including flights and hotels
• Ensure trips are assigned to correct general ledger accounts and department codes prior to export into NetSuite
• Learn and support the Zip procurement workflow as a backup to the Accounts Payable Specialist
• Assist with processing vendor invoices and maintaining approval workflows
• Monitor procurement-related expenses to confirm all purchases include valid receipts and documentation
• Proactively remind employees to upload missing files to ensure audit-ready records
• Support vendor onboarding by collecting W-9 forms and verifying vendor information for compliance
• Manage data synchronization from Brex, Navan, and Zip into NetSuite, resolving errors or mapping issues
• Support month-end close activities by ensuring all expense and procurement data is finalized and exported on time
• Serve as the first point of contact on Slack for employee questions related to travel bookings and expense submissions

What You Bring:


• Minimum 1+ year of experience, with openness to recent graduates or candidates from administrative backgrounds
• Strong understanding of how data flows between financial systems
• High level of comfort working with Excel and Google Sheets
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially when reviewing codes, receipts, and transaction amounts
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and comfort managing recurring deadlines in a remote setting
• Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities during busy close periods
