The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices for global payables and ensuring timely payments. This role collaborates with department leads worldwide, handling invoice processing, approvals in Airbase, and other administrative tasks. The AP Clerk reports to the Supervisor, Payables.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with staff and vendors across multiple time zones.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, employees, and internal stakeholders related to accounts payable, reimbursements, and corporate cards.
- Activate and deactivate user accounts as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing activities for AP.
- Support annual 1099 reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is advantageous.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar function.
- Experience handling multi-currency and multi-subsidiary transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative in a remote environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (Airbase, NetSuite) preferred.
- Familiarity with 1099 reporting is a plus.
