Description:
Clover Health is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team and support our mission to improve the lives of seniors through innovative, data-driven healthcare technology. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely review and approval of employee travel and expense (T&E) reports, including corporate card transactions, while supporting general accounts payable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- T&E Management & Compliance:
- Review and approve T&E reports to ensure adherence to company policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding T&E policies
- Resolve discrepancies and identify opportunities to improve T&E processes
- Accounts Payable Operations:
- Process vendor invoices accurately with proper coding and approvals
- Manage vendor relationships and address payment inquiries
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations for AP and T&E accounts
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and analyze reports on T&E spending trends and compliance metrics
- Provide insights to management for process improvements
- Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis
Candidate Requirements:
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, to improve processes and efficiency
- Strong knowledge of AP processes and accounting principles
- Experience with Navan, Expensify, Tipalti, and Intacct is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in financial software, Google Workspace, and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
