Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable Analyst will manage vendor invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records in the company’s accounting system. This role ensures timely and compliant payment processing while supporting month-end and year-end financial closings. The AP Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth purchase-to-pay operations and support audit and tax compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and accuracy.
  • Prepare and execute vendor payments according to company policies and schedules.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Perform AP balance reconciliations to ensure accurate records in NetSuite and correct reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring AP data is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with intercompany and tax-related transactions, providing proper documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain audit documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a finance team.

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS and VAT/tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of procurement tools such as ZIP.
