Description:
A leading company in the UAE is expanding its finance department and is looking for talented accounting professionals to join its team in Business Bay, Dubai.
The company is seeking skilled candidates for Accounts Payable Accountant, Revenue Accountant, and General Ledger Accountant positions.
The ideal candidates should have strong accounting knowledge, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage financial processes while ensuring accurate reporting and month-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting activities related to accounts payable, revenue, or general ledger functions.
• Perform accurate financial entries, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
• Support month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and accounting platforms.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with accounting analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and company accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial and accounting-related matters.
Requirements:
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in the same role inside or outside the UAE.
• Strong command of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and month-end closing procedures.
• Effective communication skills and very good English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts payable, revenue accounting, and general ledger processes.
• Financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
• ERP-based accounting operations and Excel reporting.
