Description:
A leading FMCG organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in accounts payable processes and prior experience working within fast-paced FMCG or retail environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, ERP system proficiency, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Perform vendor ledger management and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
• Process invoices and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment-related issues.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting software systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
