Hey Folks – We’re Hiring: Accounts Assistant
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Dubai Investment Park (DIP). This role supports the accounting department by handling routine financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end activities. The ideal candidate is currently based in the UAE and brings at least one year of local accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and posting journal entries.
• Perform reconciliationsfor bank accounts, supplier statements, and petty cash.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Manage petty cash and process bank-related transactions as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit-readiness.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve billing and payment queries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE (must be currently based in UAE).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Good communication and organisational skills with a proactive attitude.

Compensation:
• Salary: AED 2,500 per month (including everything)
