Description:
LEVELOCITI, a boutique CPA and advisory firm partnering with small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S., is seeking a Fully Remote Accounting Supervisor. This position offers the chance to remain hands-on in accounting work while supervising, mentoring, and supporting a team of junior accountants and bookkeepers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, review, and support daily accounting tasks performed by junior accountants and bookkeepers
• Review monthly and quarterly financial statements, reconciliations, and close activities
• Support payroll processing, setup, and payroll tax filings using Gusto
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and continuous feedback to team members
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to manage workflow, priorities, and deadlines
• Resolve accounting issues, client inquiries, and compliance matters
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory, senior, or review experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Hands-on experience with Gusto
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and payroll processes
• Experience supervising or reviewing junior team members’ work
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a remote work environment
• CPA or EA designation is a plus
