About the role:
Pathway Capital Management is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join its operations team. This remote role supports client portfolio transactions and treasury activities, handling both routine and confidential correspondence and ensuring timely processing of cash movements and distributions.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Analyse and process client portfolio transaction correspondence, including capital calls and cash/stock distributions.
▪ Prepare and dispatch client transaction letters and maintain tidy records of communications related to portfolio activity.
▪ Monitor incoming correspondence (client requests, general partner communications), route items to the correct teams, and follow up as needed.
▪ Maintain and update wire instructions in the company database; provide instructions to authorized parties upon request.
▪ Ensure accurate and timely execution of wires through the treasury system and reconcile as required.
▪ Support special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in business or a closely related discipline.
▪ 2–3 years of full-time experience in bookkeeping, accounting operations, or a similar function.
▪ Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful.
▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver with minimal supervision.
▪ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
