We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Services Associate/Bookkeeper to support our expanding client base. Remote work is available for this role, offering flexibility while working with a small, client-focused CPA firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record income and expense transactions for multiple client accounts.
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice entry, and bill payments.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records for clients.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Communicate with clients to obtain documentation or clarify transactions.
- Support CPAs with miscellaneous bookkeeping or reporting needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop; knowledge of other systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and client-service skills.
