Description:
Aduro Advisors is seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join our team supporting top-tier clients in the Venture Capital and Private Equity space. Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP using Xero
- Manage the month-end close process and raise appropriate follow-up questions to Controller or client
- Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements
- Work closely with Controllers to manage client relationships; this is a client-facing role
- Prepare draft investor correspondence in FundPanel, including capital contribution notices, distribution notices, quarterly reports, and capital account statements
- Maintain investor, investment, and fund data in FundPanel
- Organize and maintain legal documents, such as formation and investment documents, in Box
- Prepare and provide documents for annual audits and tax processes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in audit, fund administration, or alternative asset industry
- Experience in external audit, CPA certification, or MBA is advantageous
- Proven client-facing experience supporting multiple clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Comfortable using G Suite, Microsoft Office, Box, and Slack
