We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our expanding Finance Team and lead our month-end closing processes while guiding a growing accounting team. This role requires a process-oriented, technically proficient individual who excels in both leadership and hands-on accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Manage and mentor accounting team members
• Supervise daily accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful external audits
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements
• Review reconciliations, work papers, and supporting schedules for quality and accuracy
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Enhance scalable processes to support the company’s growth and drive continuous improvement
• Enable the organization to meet internal and external reporting requirements
• Gain exposure to blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, and our regulation-first approach
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Start-up and/or financial services experience
• Proven experience leading and managing an accounting team
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software
• Ability to optimize accounting operations, controls, and financial reporting processes
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and leveraging technology to enhance workflow and scalability
