Description:
Happy Travel is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Dubai office. This office-based role reports directly to the Managing Director and is ideal for a finance professional who can provide both strategic financial oversight and hands-on operational leadership within a fast-paced global travel business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial governance, improving working capital performance, and supporting the automation of accounting processes. You will also collaborate with different departments to enhance financial efficiency and contribute to the organization’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance.
• Prepare and oversee accurate, timely financial reports and statements.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow activities efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, taxation requirements, and audit processes.
• Partner with the IT team to improve accounting automation and streamline financial workflows.
Requirements:
• Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Proven experience in a UAE accounting management or senior accounting position.
• Hands-on experience using Zoho Books.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial awareness.
• Experience in B2B wholesale travel and/or travel technology is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and accounting operations.
• Tax compliance, auditing, and internal controls.
• Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and accounting process automation.
