Davies North America – Accounting Coordinator (Remote)
Davies North America is seeking a meticulous and organized Accounting Coordinator to support our claims and accounting operations team. This full-time remote role offers the opportunity to be part of a global professional services firm dedicated to innovation, risk management, and operational optimization in the insurance and regulated sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage billing transactions for clients accurately
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and ensure timely invoicing
- Collaborate with internal teams to track and resolve outstanding billing issues
- Apply cash payments as required within the billing system
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and compliance
- Set up and maintain Excel spreadsheets or use accounting software to monitor metrics and generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Assist with special projects and other accounting or clerical duties as assigned by management
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment with client-specific procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines concurrently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer/office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
