HFA – Accounting Coordinator II
HFA is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Coordinator II to support our project teams. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing aligned with client contracts and billing schedules, while collaborating closely with architects, engineers, project leaders, and the accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to process improvements in a people-first environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare invoices according to project schedules and client billing terms, ensuring accurate submission
• Post vendor invoices and manage the flow of vendor billing and payments
• Set up new clients and projects as requested by the studio
• Communicate with team leads regarding client, vendor, or studio-specific tasks
• Support AR collections in coordination with the studio
• Assist team members with project setups, consultant invoices, timesheets, and expense reports to meet team goals
Required Skills / Abilities:
• Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in remote settings
• Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project leaders to support client needs
• Strong team relationship-building skills with both accounting and studio teams
• Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes

Qualifications / Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft F&O, and/or Deltek Vision is a plus
