Habitat for Humanity South Carolina is seeking a meticulous and motivated Remote Accounting Clerk to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity of an organization committed to building affordable housing and improving communities across South Carolina. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end closings, and supporting accurate financial reporting across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records
- Assist with monthly and annual financial closings
- Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate recording
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Support internal and external audits as required
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
