Description:
Prime Therapeutics is seeking a motivated Accounting Associate to join their team remotely. This role is instrumental in maintaining accurate and complete financial records, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger accounts, as well as supporting basic financial reporting functions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization that connects care and enhances pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and year-end accounting close procedures
- Prepare standard support schedules and balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculate accrual entries and record timely, accurate general ledger entries
- Assist team members with various financial analysis projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Excel (including v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas) and Word
- Basic accounting knowledge including GAAP and FASB standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with general ledger, fixed asset, and accounting software
- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint
