What You Will Do – Essential Functions

The Accounting Associate supports financial management in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance department and assists with various finance departmental obligations. The role is critical to balancing the needs of the team to provide quality financial information in a timely manner.

    General Accounting Support

  • Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
  • Ensure compliance, support audits, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
  • Manage invoice and payment processing for vendors or customers.
  • Monitor aging reports and respond to related inquiries.
  • Payroll Support or Treasury
  • Provide backup for payroll processing and assist with tax setup and research.
  • Support cash receipts and ad hoc ACH requests.

Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited university OR High School diploma with three or more years of related experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.
