The Accounting Assistant will report to the Accounting and Benefits Manager, supporting Mission Telecom (MT) and Independent Spectrum, LLC (IS). This role ensures accurate financial transaction recording in the general ledger and assists with inquiries regarding company activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record monthly royalty income for MT and IS.
  • Record all approved vendor invoices for MT and IS.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements, ensuring documentation is complete.
  • File annual reports with multiple states for MT and IS.
  • Prepare annual 1099s for MT and IS.
  • Enter company credit card transactions and follow up on required documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to reconcile transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
