Description:
ClickHouse, a leading global open-source column-oriented database system established in 2009, is seeking a motivated Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. The company supports enterprises like Lyft, Sony, IBM, GitLab, Twilio, and HubSpot in delivering fast, real-time analytical reporting. This role offers opportunities to oversee accounts payable activities, manage reconciliations, and contribute to broader finance initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Managing and Reconciling Accounts Payables:
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including entering, classifying, and verifying vendor invoices.
- Maintain vendor information, including banking details, addresses, and payment terms.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy of bills and payments.
- Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of year-end 1099s for vendors.
Expense Management:
- Onboard new hires into Expensify and Netsuite.
- Manage corporate credit card expense reports and reconcile related accounts.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Act as the main point of contact for accounts payable-related communications with department spend owners and external vendors.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance/Operations team on ad hoc tasks.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts payable.
- Participate in quarterly VAT reclaiming (Netherlands), monthly procurement updates, and spend analysis.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Bill.com, Expensify, and Netsuite preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn continuously.
