Join ClickHouse as an Accounting Analyst – Remote

ClickHouse, a leader in open-source column-oriented database systems, is seeking a motivated Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. Role and Responsibilities:

Managing and Reconciling Accounts Payables:

• Process daily financial transactions including entering, classifying, and verifying vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate vendor information, including banking details, addresses, and payment terms.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure bills and payments are accurate and properly posted.
• Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
• Assist in preparing year-end 1099 reports for vendors.

Expense Management:

• Onboard new hires in Expensify and Netsuite.
• Manage corporate credit card expense reports and reconcile related accounts.

Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for process improvement.
• Serve as the primary contact for all accounts payable communications with department spend owners and external vendors.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support Finance/Operations team with ad hoc tasks.
• Assist with internal and external financial statement audits related to Accounts Payable.
• Conduct quarterly VAT reclaiming (Netherlands), spend analysis, and monthly procurement updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-2 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a Cloud software company.
• Experience with Bill.com, Expensify, and Netsuite preferred.
• Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Curious, proactive, and accountable for your work.
