Description:
TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Accountant V to join our team on a fully remote basis. This role is ideal for a skilled accounting professional with strong analytical abilities and expertise in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Accounting
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Ability to perform month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in information technology and accounting systems
Preferred Skills:
- CPA or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech startup or similar environment
- Aptitude for IT and software tools
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through
