Description:
Scaffworks is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Umm Al Quwain. This role is ideal for someone with UAE accounting experience who can efficiently manage invoicing, monitor inventory, and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating with clients regarding payments, and supporting daily accounting operations. Strong organizational skills, persistence, and familiarity with ERP systems will contribute to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices on time.
• Monitor and maintain inventory records to ensure material tracking.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support financial operations.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
Requirements:
• Previous accounting experience in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Hindi and Urdu is an advantage.
• Well-organized, persistent, and confident in handling payment follow-ups.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Invoicing, inventory management, and collections.
• Accounting principles and financial record keeping.
