Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with experience in trading companies to manage daily accounting operations, VAT compliance, and inventory-related financial activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, support financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily transactions, invoices, and journal entries accurately
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations regularly
- Oversee inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
- Prepare UAE VAT and tax returns and assist with audits
- Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities
- Maintain up-to-date supplier and customer ledgers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading company
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and tax accounting practices
- Experience using Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail
