A growing company in Umm Al Quwain is looking to hire a detail-oriented Accountant with practical experience in Tally and Zoho Books. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in the UAE and a solid understanding of daily accounting tasks, VAT compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. This role requires accuracy, independence, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain proper ledger entries
• Handle VAT-related data and assist in VAT filing procedures
• Prepare financial reports and support month-end closing activities
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure financial data accuracy
Requirements:
• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Prior UAE accounting experience is mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books
• Good understanding of VAT regulations and UAE accounting standards
