Description:
Thimar Libnan Group of Supermarkets is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Sharjah, UAE. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with UAE experience who can manage daily financial operations while ensuring compliance with VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounts management, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role also offers a professional work environment with opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Handle bank transactions, cash management, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including required filings.
• Support year-end closing activities and external audits.
• Coordinate with clients when required regarding financial matters.
• Prepare financial reports and provide support to the management team.
Requirements:
• UAE accounting experience is required.
• Good knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience using accounting and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.
• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and accounting software.
