Description:
Al Ameera Food is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its growing hospitality and F&B business in Sharjah. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with UAE experience who can manage financial operations, reporting, and day-to-day accounting activities within a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sales reconciliation, inventory monitoring, supplier accounts, financial reporting, and UAE VAT compliance. Candidates with previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality businesses will have an advantage.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily reconciliation of POS transactions, cash collections, card payments, and delivery sales.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and food cost performance.
• Manage supplier reconciliations, accounts payable, and operational expenses.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare outlet-level profit and loss reports and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT requirements and assist with financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal financial processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or café operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
• POS reconciliation, sales reporting, and cash management.
• Inventory control, food cost monitoring, and supplier accounts.
• UAE VAT compliance, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.
