Description:
Fastline Spare Parts is looking for a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join its growing team in Sharjah. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with UAE experience who are passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, ensuring VAT compliance, and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis. Applicants with previous experience in the UAE spare parts industry will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and oversee company expenses efficiently.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain complete accounting documentation.
• Process supplier invoices, customer receipts, and payment transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide the required financial information and documentation.
• Maintain organized filing systems and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
Requirements:
• Proven experience working as an Accountant in the United Arab Emirates.
• Previous experience in the UAE spare parts industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounting responsibilities.
• Immediate availability to join will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE VAT regulations and statutory compliance.
• Accounting software and ERP systems.
• Financial reporting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
