Veggitech Farm is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Sharjah, UAE. This position is ideal for a professional with strong accounting expertise and hands-on experience within the agriculture sector. The selected candidate will play an important role in managing financial activities, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

The Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations and supporting financial planning for farm activities. This role requires a highly organized individual who can monitor operational costs, maintain inventory-related records, and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic agricultural environment and capable of coordinating with different departments to maintain financial transparency and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare financial reports, maintain budgets, and track operational expenses related to farm activities.
• Monitor farm operational costs and maintain accurate inventory and cost control records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and internal financial policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the agriculture industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting practices.
• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
