This role is part of the Finance team and involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced SaaS environment and contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, improving systems, and ensuring smooth accounting operations within a high-growth technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record, reconcile, and analyze general ledger (GL) transactions
• Assist in month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial reports including accruals, prepaids, and deferred revenue
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Review customer contracts for accurate billing and revenue recognition
• Assist with payroll, commissions, and compensation reviews
• Support tax filings, audits, and documentation requests
• Participate in system improvements and accounting process automation
• Leverage AI tools and technology to enhance accounting efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
• Assist with ad hoc financial and operational projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in GL, AR, AP, payroll, and tax functions
• Strong understanding of financial statements and audit processes
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Maxio, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in SaaS industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• General ledger accounting
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Financial reporting and audits
• ERP/accounting systems
• Payroll and compensation accounting
