Jacob Krueger Studio, a leading screenwriting and TV writing school established in 2014, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our team. This is a fully remote role, reporting directly to the CFO, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a creative, passionate organization dedicated to developing writers’ careers through online classes, mentorship programs, and industry insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently
• Process payroll and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Assist with budget management and forecasting
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
• Work independently while meeting deadlines
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Experience using Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
